Democratization of Content is Difficult

It really is. It is very hard to say what is a good content and what is not. It is all subjective. It doesn’t even matter what kind of algorithm you are using to rank good content. In general, it all comes down to trends to one degree or another.

Recognition is a Key Motivator

So, if money is not the key motivator on the Web than what it is? The simple answer is: recognition. People do things because they want to be recognized. They want to be remembered and appreciated.

Communities Require Nurturing

You cannot just build a community and let it develop by itself. It just wont work. You need to lead by example. You need to show how things are done and if others like it then they will follow. But without nurturing you do not have a community.
