The Reason to Focus on Simplicity

I wrote about the importance of simplicity before but here is another reason why you should believe me. :)
Keep this in mind the next time you design a service or a product. The simpler the better.
There’s something to be said for simple, clear, clean web pages. I cannot tell you how many website I run across that ignore simplicity in favor of complexity.
…and the current website is not an example of a simple design :) unfortunately… I might switch soon to a spartan mode :)

If only the people at a certain notorious E-voting machine company had seen that post. The “Your company’s app” looks spartan compared to the .NET+Access(i wish i were joking) puke inducing, bleeding eyeball design that was used.
